Restorative Yoga is a very gentle yoga class in which we use many props and bolsters to support the body in order to relax and let go completely. This style of yoga is more about ‘being’ than ‘doing’. You can expect to move very little and give yourself this time to surrender your mind and body completely. Suitable for anyone.
PILATES YOGA FUSION, CORE
Pilates is a body conditioning routine that helps build flexibility, and long, lean muscles, strength and endurance. It enhances core strength and brings increased reach, flexibility and agility. Combined with a vinyasa style yoga flow this class will help to build strength, tone muscles, create flexibility and work you hard! Suitable for intermediate students.
Hatha yoga classes are for all levels of students. They are a balance of standing postures, twists, hip openers, backbends, forward folds and inversions. Classes vary and will be something different each time you come. These classes focus on alignment, and are always infused with fun! Suitable for anyone.
Gentle Hatha is just that – a gentle version of the Hatha class. In this class we move a little slower, with less standing postures and more time seated or in a supine position. This class is a great for people new to yoga or for pregnancy.
VINYASA, FLOW AND POWER
These classes are more dynamic and require experience in yoga. Vinyasa means ‘linking movement with breath’. In these classes we move through sun salutations before and between postures. We get into more arm balancing, inversions, deeper hip openers, twists, backbends and forward folds. These classes are strength based and are suitable for intermediate to advanced students.
